Path one: sunlight
Panels feed the pump's DC motor directly, with zero electricity drawn from the meter.
This is not grid-tie: no AC is needed for the solar to work, even during a power cut in daylight.
Path two: the wall
If you wire in AC, the controller reaches for it when the sun cannot keep up, say a spa at night.
If you never wire it, the pump just runs on sun.

With most daily pumping moved to the sun, up to 30% on the utility bill is within reach.

- From abroad, you get free shipping to your freight forwarder in Florida; whatever the forwarder charges onward is extra.
